Ron Daniel is highly experienced in the Design and Delivery of large scale engineering projects. Career highlights have included internationally iconic projects such as . Petronas Towers, Chek Lap Kok Airport and ground breaking achievements with what was then the world’s largest datacentre.
Almost 15-years ago, in the role of Project Executive in charge of the US$6 billion Durrat Al Bahrain, Ron was able to resolve an issue that would otherwise have jeopardised the existence of this project.
Ron identified and implemented a method of obtaining the critically required water supplies for a community of 70,000 people. This solution gained favour with the developers of Bahrain Business Bay and was repeated there on a smaller scale.
Ron’s two systems are now added to a very small list of Horizontal Beach Wells that exist globally, all of which are highly sustainable, function with environmentally harmless performance, are without the application of any toxic biocides and consistently deliver naturally treated water via a seabed filter that is constantly maintained by nature.

Ron has over 45-years of international experience in designing and building some of the most iconic projects of that period. Two vast projects in the Middle east would not exist today without Ron’s precursor of TELESIS.
Whilst the Horizontal Beach Wells and Desalination plants in Bahrain are performing beautifully it was recognised that the systems are, by most measures, expensive. Ron’s idea was to improve the solution: making it cheaper, cleaner and greener. The result is Telesis: a game changing approach to water abstraction that enables the synergistic integration of multiple utility services.
The world is still running out of food, water and energy. This nexus is one of the greatest challenges we face. A global team of experts has been assembled with the shared vision of launching Telesis to the world.
